City Planning is proposing to allow cafés, restaurants (dine-in and take-out), bars, and retail stores — including grocery and cannabis shops — along with other businesses, to open in residential neighbourhoods across the city.
If approved, these businesses would be able to open without further approval, public notice, or input from neighbours.
